Davorin J. Odrcic
Davorin is Of Counsel with Hochstatter, McCarthy, Rivas & Runde where he also has his own independent firm, Odrcic Law Group, LLC. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School and has been a licensed attorney since 2001.
Davorin specializes in deportation defense, post-conviction relief for noncitizens, and immigration litigation. He has successfully litigated cases before the Chicago Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, as well as multiple county circuit courts throughout Wisconsin.
In 2010, Davorin co-authored an article for the Wisconsin Lawyer on defense counsel’s duty to advise noncitizens on the potential immigration consequences of criminal offenses. He has trained criminal defense attorneys, public defenders, and law students in this particular area of immigration law. Davorin has also testified before the Milwaukee County Board regarding immigration detainers, and has appeared on both WGN radio and Hmong Wisconsin radio. His clients have been featured in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and The Isthmus (a Madison, Wisconsin newspaper).
Davorin is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the National Immigration Project, and the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
